It does not give SJPD access to your cameras, it just allows them to contact you requesting footage that might help.
I provided footage for them last week. I hope it helped them catch the car thieves racing down my street Sunday morning!

Billboards and Cameras

You might be aware City Council approved electronic billboards on 4 properties in downtown San Jose.
Another billboard is being proposed along Hwy 87, right where it bottlenecks due to the many converging on-ramps and off-ramps south of Hwy 280.
If you would like to make a public comment, you may review the documents here and submit your comment to the Environmental Project Manager by 5pm, Friday, March 7, 2025.
