Our Mission
Established in 1973, the Willow Glen Neighborhood Association (WGNA) is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit community organization (tax ID 51-0189734) dedicated to improving the quality of life in our neighborhood of San José, CA.
Board Members
Meetings
The Willow Glen Neighborhood Association Board of Directors meets monthly to hear concerns or announcements from our membership, to invite guest speakers on the address of topics that are important to the community, as well as to set our calendar, plan events, and monitor our financial status. Speakers often include persons from the city and county departments, local community groups, and Willow Glen residents. Your participation is both welcome and encouraged.
The WGNA Annual Meeting & Election, corresponding with the term year for the new Board of Directors, occurs in the month of May. In this meeting, the membership elects its officers, board members, and nominating committee.

Volunteer
Many of WGNA's past and present board members became involved because of their own personal passion for volunteerism. If you are a resident of Willow Glen, please get involved!
If you have a cause you'd like to fight for, whether it be preserving the environment, keeping our neighborhood clean, or advocating for city services, WGNA needs your opinions in order to form a collective voice that accurately represents the neighborhood that we love and care for so much. Please fill out our Willow Glen Community 2021 Survey.
Visit the volunteer page and sign up to help in some of our more common causes, or you can let us know what you're most passionate about and we'll let you know when something might come up. The News page also includes volunteer opportunities with some great organizations that WGNA works with on a regular basis, or please email us, if not ask one of the board members at our next board meeting.
