Native Plants, Kirk Park, LG Creek Trail

Thank you to everyone who joined us at last Tuesday’s meeting to hear updates from City, County, and Police Department representatives, and to enjoy a terrific presentation on the importance of Native Plants — including how to get started in your own yard.

Congratulations to Kathy Kleinsteiber and Sam Lum, recipients of WGNA Appreciation Awards, in recognition of their exceptional work beautifying our neighborhood. Read more below about what they’ve done — and where you can see their work in person!

We’d love your input on a few things:

  1. Appreciation Award Nominations
Do you know someone who’s done something wonderful in our neighborhood? Nominate them for a WGNA Appreciation Award!

  2. Repair Café Venue Ideas
We're looking for a large, free or low-cost venue in or near Willow Glen that can fit 20 large tables and 100 people, with ample nearby parking, for our next Repair Café. Any suggestions?

  3. Autumn Harvest Litter Pickup Location
Is there a spot in Willow Glen you think could use some love during our Autumn Harvest Litter Pickup on Saturday, October 25

Email us! Thanks so much for being part of our community!
