Stacey Houghton, Artist 

Stacey Houghton is an accomplished artist and instructor. She discovered art at a young age and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Cogswell Polytechnical College and a Masters of Fine Arts at Rochester Institute of Technology. She went on to build a successful career as a professional artist working in many different facets of art, including graphic design, screen printing, and art instruction.

Although Stacey has spent decades working in various mediums, painting has always been her preferred method for self-expression. Stacey founded Valley Painting Parties to share her passion with the community and provide a place where people of all ages and abilities can discover the joy and overwhelming feeling of success from painting. Her passion for expert instruction coupled with her desire to create, makes Stacey an exceptional instructor and mentor.

Stacey pulls artistic inspiration from the beauty inherent in everyday life. She is a wife, mother of three, and volunteers her time as an art docent for local schools. Her personal works of art have been featured in gallery showings throughout California. She led the Sassy Seats bus bench painting project in Willow Glen back in 2016 in partnership with her local company, Valley Painting Parties, and the Downtown Willow Glen Business Association that can be seen all over the town.
