Willow Glen Planning Area Neighborhoods: Housing Element Update

Coordinated by the City of San Jose. This is not a WGNA event, but may be of interest to Willow Glen residents.

Every several years, cities are required to plan for future housing needs through the State Housing Element process.  We would greatly appreciate and value your input to help shape San Jose's plan for the 2014-2022 period by sharing what you feel are the most important housing needs and issues in the city.  As San Jose continues to grow, as demographics of our population continue to evolve, and as the economy continues to improve - perhaps unevenly - what housing needs should the City address?  More housing for seniors?  A variety of housing to support the local economy and workers of different incomes?  Other concerns and/or opportunities?

We encourage you to participate and share your thoughts at one of the upcoming public workshops to help shape the future of San Jose.  Each of the meetings will cover the same material.  All are welcome - please feel free to invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, or anyone else you feel may be interested.  Spanish and Vietnamese translation services will be available as needed.
