Willow Glen Dumpster Days


Dumpster Day on Saturday April 16th, 2022 at 9am

This event was sponsored by Councilwoman Dev Davis.  Her office will provide 9 dumpsters and 1 e-waste bin.  We are coordinating with Goodwill and will have a donation truck and possibly more onsite.

Dumpsters will be placed along Dry Creek Road near the Willow Glen High School Baseball field. Please enter the event from Cherry Avenue. 

We will accept the following items:

  • E-waste
    • Cell phones or landline telephones
    • Computers, laptops, tablets, or computer accessories
    • Copiers, printers, or fax machines
    • DVD or VCR players
    • Stereos
    • Televisions
    • Video game consoles
  • Old furniture, desks drawers, mattresses, box springs
  • Counter tops, hardware, toilets, glass, carpet and padding
  • Lumber, fencing, wood, logs
  • Lawn mowers(fluids drained)
  • Plastic toys
  • Clean concrete, brick, cinder blocks rock
  • Packaging styrofoam in a clear plastic bag

We will not accept the following items:

  • Fertilizer and Pesticides
  • Fluorescent lightbulbs
  • Gas cylinders and tanks
  • Paint, solvent, and more
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Automotive and cleaning products
  • Tires
  • Refrigerators
  • No commercial waste, trailers over 4x8 will be turned away.

Dumpster Day on Saturday September 11, 2021 from 9am to 1pm

 

 

As part of Willow Glen Neighborhood Association and CP Dev Davis's efforts to beautify our neighborhood,

we are sponsoring a dumpster day on Saturday September 11, 2021 from 9am to 1pm.  

Dev Davis's office is providing four 40 cubic yard mixed waste bins

and one 20 cubic yard e-waste bin for Willow Glen residents.

To participate you must currently reside in Willow Glen.

Be prepared to show proof of residency via a driver's license or utility bill.

We need volunteers to help with this important event.  Volunteers will be allowed to dispose of their items first.
