Dear Councilmember Yeager & Dr. Murray:

I am writing on behalf of the Willow Glen Neighborhood Association (WGNA) regarding traffic issues near Willow Glen High School (WGHS). Residents of Dry Creek Road and other streets near WGHS attended our last Neighborhood Association meeting to indicate their concerns with the re-routing of buses and changes in drop-off areas near the High School. Neighbors indicated concern regarding student safety and their desire for on-campus bus parking and student drop-off.

The WGNA Board agreed to contact you on the issue and urge you to continue to develop solutions to mitigate traffic issues near the High School that do not overly burden one particular street. It is hoped that consideration would be given to re-locating bus parking and student drop-off onto the campus. The Board also asked that, when possible, WGNA could be notified of neighborhood meetings related to traffic issues by the District and/or the City.

Thank you for allowing WGNA to present its perspective on this matter, if I can provide you with any additional information please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

John L. Gibbs, WGNA President
